Our year eight students have responded excellently this week to their assessments. It is an opportunity for students to mark a moment in their key stage three curriculum to reflect on what they have learnt and the next steps in their education.
We had a fantastic discovery day on Thursday with lots of visitors in school, a range of activities, careers interviews, well being events and a trip to the space centre. Please see our news item for further information.
Our students in year eleven and thirteen have now completed the first week of mock examinations and they have been calm, purposeful and organised. Well done to all of them.
We are looking forward to the last two weeks of term as there are lots of events as well as the opportunity for our year elevens and thirteens to be demonstrating everything they know in their mock examinations.
We have been holding a series of rugby training events this week. We are really pleased with the network of clubs and sporting associations with whom we have links and the opportunities for our students.
